# Who am I

I'm David Wippel, a digital tinkerer with over 25 years in the software industry. My journey has taken me from crafting complex business solutions to founding and running a software agency, and now focusing on my new ventures with Essential Code and Glasswise E-Label.

The work I still do with my own hands is fractional marketing engineering. One senior engineer sitting inside a marketing team, taking the website work, the AI tooling, and the integrations off their plate. Plenty of teams have that work every single week and nowhere near enough of it to justify a full-time senior hire. That gap is where I sit.

What drives me is the connection between technology and business needs. I'm fascinated by creating sustainable digital tools that solve real challenges, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises where the right technology can change how a business works.

My approach combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise. I believe digital solutions should serve people, which is why I care about intuitive, user-focused experiences.
